Camocim is a municipality and prefecture of Ceará. The city's architecture offers a landscape of 19th-century mansion houses and public buildings. During Carnival, Camocim welcomes thousands of visitors. It is one of the main party spots in Ceará. Industry is the village's main economic activity, followed by fishing and trade. In the vicinity of Camocim, the wind moves along the coast, creating an ideal place to practice wind sports like kite or wind surfing. Camocim has the largest coast of Ceará, sporting 62 km of amazing beaches, six crystalline lakes and two rivers with six islands, with an almost unreal landscape full of coconut trees, cliffs, mangroves, and white sand dunes that fascinate all its visitors.
